The Power of Gratitude
The definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.
How many times do we expect different results and yet we do the same things day after day?
If you aren’t happy with your job, have little time to spend with your kids, or your partner is not pulling their weight, today we will look at what you can do to change the way YOU think, immediately.
A belief is simply a thought you keep thinking, so to change your beliefs, simply requires you to change your thoughts.
Sounds simple and it is. Here is an easy formula for you to follow:
Thoughts + Decisions + Actions = Results
If you are not happy with your results, go back to this simple formula and change your thoughts. By following this formula, you can change your thoughts and therefore you will create different results — the results you truly desire in your life, work and your relationships. To make this happen, you have to take the necessary steps.
- Focus on positive thoughts and believe you will get the results you desire.
- Make decisions promptly on those positive thoughts.
- Take prompt action to achieve your desired results.
Your results until now, have been the reflections of your past thoughts. To change your results, you must change your thoughts, starting with GRATITUDE.
If you are not grateful, you cannot receive more in return. You will block the flow of better health, better relationships, more joy, more money and the advancement of your career or business. To receive, you have to give. Gratitude is giving thanks and without it, you cut yourself off from the flow of receiving everything you want in your life. You are not allowing yourself to receive what you truly desire into your life.
Write a list of 10 things you are grateful for and why. This can be your family, your health, food, the weather, love or even a flower. Be personal with your answers.
Doing this exercise will awaken you to how much you have to be grateful for in your life right now. You will open up the flow of allowing more good into your life. You are shifting your focus from what you don’t have (lack) to what you do have (abundance) and this subtle yet very powerful shift in your thinking, can create miracles in your life, starting NOW.
